Sensai Eric Hutton - joined Bob Meuller Martial Arts Academy in 1988. He was motivated after spending a summer with the Canadian Forces Reserve in Petawawa and saw a Karate Tournament. Trained in the church, then under Dan Coles as Sensei with SuperKids where the Shotokan style was changed to Sloky-Ryu. After 7 years training, almost full time, 3 years as a brown belt, Sensei Hutton left in 1995/96 and returned with the switch back to Shotokan Style in 1997 under Sensei Grant Joron, who had completed a 1st degree black belt in Ju-Jitsu which helped open up our training/teaching style.

With Sensei Joran and the World Kubudo Federation Sensei Hutton trained and graded for Shodan under Sensei Paul Kerr in 2000. He then trained and instructed for TIMA, including active members, to rebuild the club after its collapse in 2001. All Sensei Huttons kids have been members of the club and feel strongly about the family oriented visions of the club. Sensei Huttons biggest martial arts motivation has been Sensei Noonan.
