The Thunder Demo was created in 2003 under the direction of Sensei Jason Cummings.
The original Thunder Demo only performed at the Dojo, the Annual Christmas Party and
Fall Registration which was held at the 1000 Islands Mall.
In late 2006, Sensei Cummings stepped down from the demo team to pursue his studies and Sensei Valerie took over the reigns. Under the direction of Sensei Valerie the Demo team expanded their appearances to include sidewalk sales, fairs, and festivals (Riverfest, Cornfest etc.).
Over the years the Demo Team has represented this school with so much Pride.
Their accomplishments include being the 3 time recipients of the First Place Demo Trophy
from Kingston Kicks.
Due to increasing business demands Sensei Valerie eventually turned the team over to Sensei Chris Wilson until his departure to Vancouver and Directors College. At that time Sensei Will Maitland stepped up to become the current Instructor/Director of the Thunder Demo Team. Sensei Maitland will no doubt lead this team to more accomplishments and victories.

ATTENTION: During the month of October we will be holding tryouts for additional members. If you feel you can contribute to the Team, showcase your skills, are willing to learn more challenging techniques and can handle the steady commitment required, then this might just be for you! If you are interested please see either Sensei Maitland or Sensei Valerie about trying out for the team.
